Safety Solutions Group MMC designs, supplies, installs and maintains fire alarm systems in Baku and across Azerbaijan. What a fire alarm system consists of
A fire alarm system has several parts and we supply all of them. The equipment can be seen in our showroom in Baku.
Control panel
The centre of the system: it receives signals from detectors, triggers the alarm and logs events. A conventional or addressable panel is chosen depending on the size of the building.
Smoke and heat detectors
Ceiling-mounted devices that detect smoke or a sharp rise in temperature. The type and number of detectors per room is set in the design.
Manual call points
Red buttons installed on escape routes and in corridors. If a person sees a fire before a detector does, they trigger the system by hand.
Sounders and strobes
Devices that warn with sound and light. Noisy industrial areas need strobes; for offices a sounder is enough.
Addressable or conventional?
In a conventional system the panel shows only which zone is in alarm; it is simple and economical for small sites. In an addressable system every detector has its own address, the panel shows the exact room and device and tracks faults; it is chosen for medium and large sites, multi-storey buildings and central monitoring. The alarms of hundreds of Araz, Bazarstore and Azza stores are monitored from a central office.
How the work goes: from design to maintenance
First we survey the site and prepare the design; we produce the required documentation. Then we deliver and install the equipment, test the system and hand it over. After installation we provide maintenance to keep the system in working order. The same team installs automatic extinguishing (water, gas, foam), smoke extraction and intrusion alarm systems.
Maintenance, upgrades and 24/7 fault response
We sign annual maintenance contracts for systems we installed and for systems installed by others: periodic tests, detector cleaning, battery replacement, documentation and fault call-outs. Old or non-compliant panels are upgraded on the existing cabling.

Where we install
Offices and business centres, shops and shopping centres, residential complexes, industrial and warehouse sites, schools and government buildings. Since 2017 the company has installed security systems at the Olympic Stadium, the National Gymnastics Arena, Boulevard Residence and ZARA and Massimo Dutti stores.
For fit-out and construction contractors
We work with MEP engineers, fit-out and interior companies from the design stage: mobilisation to tight schedules, device placement that respects the design, approval with the fire authority and maintenance after handover.
